I'm an editorial leader with over 15 years of experience launching major editorial initiatives and reporting projects around the world for global media companies including The Economist, BBC News, and The Wall Street Journal. 

I currently lead editorial and strategy at Prologue Projects, a narrative podcast company based in Brooklyn. In this role, I oversee our staff, lead our editorial business, and develop new shows. Podcasts I've worked on include Think Twice: Michael Jackson, named The New Yorker's best podcast of 2023, Fiasco: Vigilante which The New York Times called "excellent" and which was excerpted on On the Media, Wired's Have a Nice Future and Backfired, a forthcoming narrative franchise on the business of unintended consequences.

Previously, I was a senior editor at The Economist where I edited the paper's flagship daily news podcast The Intelligence, which has been downloaded over 300M times, and I also re-launched the paper's weekly business and finance podcast, Money Talks.  Before that, I hosted and edited The Wall Street Journal's flagship morning news podcast, What's News, after leading the relaunch of the show and its relocation to London.  I spent the bulk of my career at the BBC, where I held a range of roles as a senior business journalist, working in London, Singapore, New York and reporting everywhere from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange to a fishing boat in Mozambique.

I've worked in podcasting since the early days, learning from the best at Gimlet Media, Freakonomics, Marketplace, WNYC, Studio 360, and Living on Earth. My first ever radio story involved hiding in a rotting wood house during a thunderstorm recording the noise of bats. I peaked early. 

I hold an MBA with distinction from Columbia Business School, where I received a full tuition Wiegers fellowship. I also have an MS from Columbia's Journalism School, where I was a Knight-Bagehot fellow, and a BA with honors from Harvard. I lived and taught in Romania for a year as a Fulbright fellow.
